We are currently seeking seasonal, qualified candidates who are available to work during our 2025 operating season which runs Saturday, May 24th through Sunday, September 7th, when we close for the season.

Lifeguard

Lifeguards are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to our park. This includes monitoring pool areas, enforcing rules, assisting guests in need and being responsive to situations that may arise. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly safety oriented. No experience necessary. All applicants must complete and pass our certification course (any prior licenses are not valid). Ellis and Associates licensure will be issued upon successful completion of the class. Attendance at weekly in-service training is required.
NOTE: If you are 15 years of age, you must apply for the Jr. Lifeguard position.

Food & Beverage

Food & Beverage Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, cooking and serving various food offerings, cashiering and keeping spaces and dishes clean. This position is very service oriented. No experience necessary; we will teach you everything you need to know. NOTE: Must be at least 16 years of age and you will need to obtain a food handlers certification.

Line Cook

Line Cook Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, and cooking various food offerings (pizza, sandwiches, fried foods and more). This position is highly service oriented. Experience is preferred, but not required; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years of age and you will need to obtain a food handlers certification.

Bartender

Bartenders need to be able to provide high-quality alcoholic beverages to our guests of legal drinking age in a timely manner while maintaining safety, accuracy and having great personal integrity and responsibility. Guest service-driven, taking drink orders from bar guests and always keeping our bar clean and organized. Will need to prepare guest orders to be delivered by cabana servers. Must be knowledgeable of the drink menu, as well as the draft and bottled beer selection,and be able to explain them to guests.
NOTE: Must be at least 21 years old and Bassett certified.

Jr. Food and Beverage

Jr. Food & Beverage Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing and serving various food offerings, cashiering and customer service-related tasks. This position is highly service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided.
NOTE: Position for 15 years old only. You will need to obtain a work permit and a food handlers certification. There are a limited number of Jr. positions available for the season.

Cabana Attendant

Cabana Attendants ensure fast and friendly food & beverage (F&B) service to assigned private cabanas. As a cabana attendant you will be tasked with fulfilling guest orders, maintaining cabana cleanliness, and communicating effectively with the various park departments as it relates to ensure top notch customer service. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary but wait service experience is preferred; all training is provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and will need to obtain food handlers and Bassett certifications.

Jr. Lifeguard

Front Gate & Retail

Front Gate & Retail Team Members ensure quick and friendly service to all guests entering the park. This includes, but not limited to selling tickets, working the parking booth, scanning tickets for entry and working in the retail shop. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 17 years old. Speaking a second language is a plus!

Park Services

Park Services Team Members ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the park. Attention to detail and a desire to maintain a clean environment for our guests is a must. Duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping, bussing tables, keeping the bathhouses clean, collecting trash bags from the trash cans and organizing life jackets. No experience necessary; all training is provided.
NOTE: Must be 16 years of age or older.

Security

Security Team Members are responsible to make sure our guests don’t need to worry about their safety while at the park. This position includes tasks such as: checking bags at the front gate to ensure no unsafe/banned items are coming into the park, helping lost kids reunite with their families, enforcing all park safety policies & keeping your composure in potentially stressful situations. Other park projects may also be assigned by management.
NOTE: Must be 18 years of age or older.

First Aid

First Aid Team Members are calm and friendly people who can take care of guests who need any kind of first aid attention. From scraped knees & stubbed toes to emergency situations- we want to assure our guests that we are prepared to take care of them in the best way possible. Candidates should also have good organizational skills to assure that all paperwork & documentation is done accurately.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid EMT-B license.

Slide Attendant

Slide Attendants are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to our park. This includes, but is not limited to enforcing attraction rules, giving clear instructions to guests, and facilitating a fun experience on each and every ride. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is safety oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided.

Marketing Assistant

Raging Waves Waterpark is seeking a highly enthusiastic Marketing and Sales Assistant that wants to be challenged to reach their potential at a fun and family-friendly entertainment destination. You will gain experience being involved in all facets of marketing, including working directly with operational waterpark staff to ensure that all events are successful.

We use the “Hot Schedules” platform, which you can access in the app.  You will input your initial availability and have the opportunity to request off dates for special events ( graduation, vacation, first day of school, etc.)  You can also request “shift changes” if something comes up. Those will need your manager’s approval.

No.  For Aquatics, we will have you complete a lifeguard training class with our instructors.  For Foods, you will need to present or obtain a current Food Handlers certificate, a link will be provided.  Bartenders must be Basset Certified before their first shift.

We will usually send a text with a link to sign up for an online interview, within 4-6 days of reviewing your application.  At the end of your “get to know you” interview, we will usually make an offer at that time or request another interview with you in certain cases.

If you work in the same department as the person you share a ride with, we can do our best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot usually honor those types of requests if you work in different departments.

We will have paid on-site training in early May that team members attend.  The park is scheduled to open on May 24, 2025- some team members will work that day, and others will start shortly after that.

There is no out-of-pocket cost for the lifeguard class.  All we ask is that you honor your commitment to work for Raging Waves once you pass the class and receive your license.
