Here are some common questions and the answers...

General Waterpark Questions:

1) When are you open?
Raging Waves is open from 10am - 7pm (6pm after Agust 10) daily until September 1st.

2) Does Raging Waves charge for parking?
NO...there is absolutely NO charge for general parking!
We do have priority parking for $5.00, if you chose that option.
We love cars full of people and do not penalize you with this charge.

3) Does everyone need an admission ticket to enter?
Yes...anyone entering Raging Waves must have an admission ticket.

4) Can I bring Food & Beverages into Raging Waves?
Numerous food and beverage services are available within the waterpark. Visitors are not allowed to bring food, beverages, or coolers inside.
No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto Raging Waves property.
No knives, glass items (including but not limited to jars, bottles and mirrors) or other sharp or potentially dangerous items may be brought into Raging Waves Waterpark.
We will inspect all bags brought onto the property.

5) Are there height restrictions for some of the slides?
If your child is 48" or more there are no slide restrictions, except in the kiddie area.

6) What is Raging Waves smoking policy?
Raging Waves is a non-smoking facility, smoking is not allowed anywhere within the waterpark.

7) At what age can children be at the waterpark on their own?
Over age 12...all children aged 12 and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). Children age 2 and younger are admitted complimentary.

8) Do I have to rent a tube?
No...tubes are provided on all rides that require a tube. If you want to rent a private tube to avoid some lines you can do that, but you do not need to.

9) What do I do with my tube if I need to go out to the car?
Just check your tube at "Tube Rentals" and you'll be able to leave and return.

10) Are lockers available?
Yes...daily rental lockers are available for $6.00 + a $5.00 key deposit.

11) I want to make this a special day for my family...do you rent Private Cabanas?
Yes...Our Cabanas are situated around the wavepool and are available for daily rental. They include 4 chairs, table and 2 lounge chairs, daily treat, wait staff service, free preferred parking (max 8 people in one cabana).

Reservations can be made over the phone or in person only. Cabanas are reserved on a first-come basis...make your reservations early!

12) Can we bring our own lifejackets and tubes into the waterpark?
You can bring in your own lifejackets if they have the "Coast Guard Approved" tag on them...but we do not allow tubes to be brought in. The tubes we use are custom to fit the rides. We also provide lifejackets on a first-come basis.

13) Do you have a spectator admission ticket?
We don't and the reason for that is you are really paying for a space within the waterpark
. We do have reduced senior rates for those 62+ and under 48" tall + kids 2 and under are FREE!

14) Park Closing Policy (Raincheck)
Raging Waves is open every day of the season, rain or shine. If we experience inclement weather that includes lightning (or some other extreme weather condition), the park will suspend operations until it passes.
If the park closes for the day, all customers remaining in the park when it closes will receive a raincheck for a 2008 visit (excluding season pass holders).
Note - guests must show their ticket stub from that day or a receipt to receive a raincheck.

Group Questions:

1) Do I need reservation to get the discount group rate?
Yes...to receive the discount group rates you must have advance reservations (minimum 4 days in advance of your trip, reservations are taken on a first-come basis) and dates may fill up, so be sure to make your reservations as early as you can.

1) I want to celebrate my child's birthday at Raging Waves, do you offer a package?
Yes...we offer a great Birthday Party Package that will make this years birthday unforgettable. Leave all the work to us! It is a complete package that offers admission and treats...click here for all info.

Season Passholder Questions:

1) When can I pick up my season passes?
You can pick up your season pass and have your picture taken any day between 10:00am and 6:00pm. For more information on season passes please click here.

2) I don't live in Yorkville or Bristol, but I live very close, why can't I get the discount?
We realize everyone wants deal...but here's the answer...The waterpark is located in Yorkville, Illinois and the community has been instrumental in facilitating the development. The discount is offered by the waterpark owners to Yorkville and Bristol residents as a Thank You for approving zoning.
